Sweet Dreams are made of these…Stuffed chicken breasts, blueberry dumplings, sweet potato pancakes, savory turkey breast…these are just a few of the delectable dishes of which Mr. Sandman heartily approves. Just remember to keep your evening meals light, low fat and reasonably (nothing over the top!) seasoned. That cayenne pepper you've been saving is better spent on a breakfast omelet, AFTER you've benefited from a full night's rest. Ditto for the garlic, citrus juices and Vidalia onion that belong in a satisfying lunch or early supper. Most people find it tough, after all, to drift off to sleep when their digestive systems are working overtime - but don't go thinkin' we're anti-midnight snack. Let's dish on snooze foods and night caps.
